If you own a Melting Pot you might enjoy trying this easy technique.

Like Childs Play - and just as fast

Make beads from UTEE by following these unusually simple directions.

MATERIALS
The Melting Pot
Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel
Embossing Craft Sheet
Kool Toolz
UTEE FLEX
Aluminum Crochet Hook (variable thicknesses)
Glycerin or Clear Embossing Ink
Scissors

DIRECTIONS

1. Working over the non stick craft sheet....

2. Melt UTEE + a 1/4 - 1/2 scoop of FLEX in Melting Pot, cover, turn to 340 degrees. Don't stir (causes air bubbles)

3. Stir gently once all melted

4. Grease Crochet Hook with Glycerin or Clear Embossing Ink

5. Dip hook into pot, lift, twirl and it will harden within seconds.

6. Pull UTEE from hook (comes off very easily) and cut into whatever sized beads you like.

TIP.... You can jazz up your beads by adding other colorants to the solidified UTEE surface..such as Alcohol Inks, Perfect Pearls, Pearl Ex or metallic creme rub ons like Rub n Buff.

You can further enhance the beads by gluing on Beadazzles and Zamora Beadz using Zap-a-Gap super glue.

Rub n Buff, Ranger Alcohol Inks, Beadazzles and Zamora Beadz are all available on our website.

If you go to my website, look under SUZE SEZ, techniques, click on Beads with UTEE you'll see what I do. While you're there...also check out another new technique (doesn't involve UTEE or the pot) using our FOIL MELTS. Please enjoy!
