Materials:
School glue
Paintbrush you're willing to sacrifice
Scraps of regular typing-weight paper or giftwrap
Polymer sealant
Eye-screw
Bottle with cork
Embellishments
Stamped images (embossed works best)
Optional materials:
Glitter
Lumiere paint (or the likes of)
Directions:
I used clearanced
holiday wrapping paper and a big star-punch and punched out a bunch of stars from
different colors, glued them on with Elmers on a paintbrush moistened with water. It's ok
to paint the glue right over the top of them
Then I punched &
stamped out different shapes and cut around them and then glued them down over the stars.
On the green one, I
used diluted
Lumiere paint over
the whole thing and took a moist paper towel and blotted.
I used a water-based
polymer sealant over the whole thing and sprinkled glitter on it.
Once it was very dry,
I sprayed it with a gloss sealant.
For the cork, I took
one of those eye-screws and screwed it into the top and attatched embellishments.
