Hot List

My cousin, Wade Collier
This is his geneology site on Family Tree Maker. It has quite a bit of stuff. He is quite thorough and still has lots more to add!!! In his own words: "This home page includes information generated by research into the family and descendants of Thomas Collier, who came from England and settled in Hingham, Massachusetts in 1635. Later generations include individuals who remained in South Shore Massachusetts, and others who moved to Hampshire County, Massachusetts, Maine, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Montana, and California by the mid 19th century. The vast majority of the individuals traced are descended from Gershom Collier (about 1674 - February 19, 1753) and his wife, Elizabeth Poole, of Hull, Massachusetts."
Lava Beds National Monument at Tule Lake, California
The site of a protracted Indian and United States Cavalry war. Spelunking, wildlife watching and camping are offered, too.
Shasta-Trinity National Forest
Within this forest is Mt. Shasta, a holy mountain. There are quite a few outdoor activities to participate in and several quaint cities to visit.
Crater Lake National Park
The deepest lake in this hemisphere.
Mt. Rainier National Park
Not only is Mt. Rainier in this park, so is Mt. St. Helens. So far, Mt. St. Helens is the only volcano to erupt in our chain in recorded history.
Dunsmuir, California and Castle Crags State Park
A sleeper of a town. Truly interesting. The park's a neat, well laid out, restful place. Easy access to the Pacific Crest Trail.
Tom's Hiking and Backpacking Page Up close in some of the Northwest backcountry.
Roosevelt Elk
Magnificent, intelligent and unpredictable creatures. Hunting them is not for the unfit or faint of heart.
Blacktail Deer
Crafty, private, canny and beautiful. Hunting these beauties is an experience in patience, requiring a deep knowledge of wood lore. To catch one you almost have to be as comfortable in the woods as they are. They rival the Coeus Deer for challenge of wits.
Brain Food
Some cool links including excellent research and information sites. Encyclopedias, almanacs, distance learning, a really neat "How Things Work" site and a site giving a visual cyber map of the Internet. Check it out. Powerful sites for students of all levels and for the curious.
Links to Aromatherapy and Herb Sites
Bunches and bunches of sites with information on Aromatherapy and Herbs - educational, shopping, how to use the stuff, what the benefits are and what they can help you with and on and on and on....
The Matrix Oracle
A fun place to go. Several methods of divination and oracular readings available. It's spooky how accurate they can be!
Goldmining
Sorry, no link. You'll need to find your own spots!
